To drop mid in a door no doubt the Profi's. More experienced competitors like Steve Head have found the Elate 6 mid to be a poor IB performer and have best results in a sealed application.

Did you run the elate 6 SW for a while? How did they sound? I saw an old tread where you were looking to buy those mids.

I persume because the Qts for Morel Elate 6 is so low at 0.35 vs Profi Kick woofer at 0.80.

Any experience with Profi 100 midrange? How low can this midrange play down to? Profi midrange seems to have much lower resonance frequency of 84Hz vs Morel CDM 54 @ 300Hz.

I love domes, they have a place in caraudio for their size, sealed back...

But nothing can substitute displacement. The 4" will get louder, play lower into the vocal midrange, and a slight angle is all it takes to image better.
