Morel Dotech Ovation or Morel Dotech MKII ?

Pros and Cons of Morel Dotech Ovation / Morel Dotech MKII? Other recommendations given were the Focal KR. I've asked the same question also on the amplifier part of the forum, asking what would be recommended to power the front speakers. If you could reco amp too, that would be great.

For installation in an 07 Subaru Impreza. I listen mostly to Rock, Lounge Music, some House...

I think the dotech is average, but if you could get the hybrid ovations, you'll be in love with your music.

hybrid ovations is or one the smoothest meaning cleanest well balanced sounding passive set i've heard.

but you can 't go wrong with morel no matter which set you pick.

just make sure you deaden, placement,aiming,etc..... to get the best sound

the cost difference is significant... i was curious if the sound quality difference is also as significant.

by cost difference, i mean from ovation to hybrid... it appears that in the PH, the source i saw has the dotech ovation & dotech mkII priced almost the same, with dotech ovation priced slightly higher

I'm happy with my midbass response from my Morel Hybrids, they are not the exact same part as used in the comp set, but should be similar technology.
