Right, here goes. I'm on the other side of the world from my ride and I would just like a few opinions on something. I am currently running 2 12 inch Pioneer 1200W VCCS subs in a ported competition big boom box off an Alpine MRD-M300, but I have just bought a second hand MRD-M301 while on holiday at a really good price of 175 New Zealand dollars. What I wanna know is if I run both of these amps to the subs am I really gonna hear THAT much of a difference ?! Just cant wait to get back home and get it hooked up....

Shot for the help

LOL, there's been much worse asked here.

You are trying to hook 2 different amps? if so then don't.

doubling the power to your speakers will make them louder, or blow them, that's for you to know or find out.

Yeah, It's just that I've read about quite a few guys running one sub off an MRD-M300 and it would just make sense to me if I used both amps with their outputs set to the same power so that one powered each sub. This would give each sub the optimum power ? Not so ?
