More sound for my pound ?!

I am currently on the other side of the world from my ride and would just like a quick opinion on something. I am currently running 2 Pioneer 12' subs off an Alpine MRD-M300.. Now, I have just bought a second hand ALpine MRD-301 whichc I want to add t power the subs, obviously running one amp on each sub. Now, what I want to know is with this addition will I really notice much of an improvement ?
