the blue wire from HU: for 2 amps do I splice the wire to both amps or can I piggyback from one to the other?

thats the remote wire...you can technically do either. I would piggyback em

they will get power, but wont turn on. You need the remote wire for the amps to turn on when you turn the HU on, and the amps turn off when you turn the HU off.

Btw, you want to use the blue/white striped wire. Not the solid blue.

I haven't looked at it in a while. I got the Hu and 2 sets of comps in but no amps or subs yet. I thought it was solid but probably had da stripe.

if you connect solid blue, the amp will only turn on when using the radio function, not cd/auxilary/etc.

I think that wire was tagged as the amp remote. It's a JVC KD-S100 it has 6 channels - four tuned to 5V and two @ 2V(subs). I can't wait to get'em in. Taking a week vacation next month. Going to do the Big 3, build a sub box, deaden....Hoping to be ready as can, totally stoked. I'll take pictures but am sh***y with a computer. lol.

solid blue is your power antenna wire when hooking up your remote wire your gonna wanna use the blue with white stripe
