looks good and serve's its purpose but personaly i woulda painted it instead of carpeting it.

I would've too, but that's a lot of extra sanding I wasn't in the mood to do.

the only thing i would say is that maybe putting the drink in front woulda saved space....

Since I'm not a smoker I have to say it's not something I'd do, but the sheer usefulness of it is no doubt helpful I'm sure. shrinkydinx is right though. I wondered why it stuck up so high when I looked at the finished product, and it had to be that way to accomidate the drink holder. The cigarette pack and remote holder are much shallower, and if the drink holder where in front, cigarette pack in the middle, and remote at the rear the whole assembly could have been much lower overall, helping it to blend more in the vehicle. Pretty cool idea though, and I bet carpeting that thing must have been a major pain. Good work guys. Well, it was originally just going to be a cupholder, in which case it wouldn't have looked so funky and out-of-place as that's how I designed it, but halfway through it we thought, shit, why not add a cigarette and remote holder...but I didn't feel like re-doing any of it, and that's why it looks so weird. Believe me, after we finished we must have spent literally an hour just staring at pondering how absurd it is. As far as the carpeting....it wasn't really all that bad, aside from the seams....only took about 45 minutes.

And I already built a set of kick panels for him. :thumbsup
