More Efficient Way To Wire?...

this guy i just talked to said im chocking my system by going through the distribution block. If i run two power wires off the battery in the back, and then connect the grounds of the amp to the battery and then groung the battery to the block instead of the chassie it would be more efficient better....does that make sence to everyone?....the guy seemed to be pretty knowledgeable.

Kinda makes sence.. Your running 2 amps in the back?? You should just do the big 3 up front run 0guage to back battery ground that battery in back to chassis and run BOTH amps pos and neg off that back battery. No dist blocks but you have to fuse the power wires...

you mean use the rear battery as a distro? and connct the neg posts rather than using the chassis?

yes this is more efficient. will you hear a difference? probably not

Umm mabie a little cause less voltage drop and shorter path.. more current... You got your fuses set right? 1 under hood 1 before back battery and on each pos comming off back battery?

if you have a rear battery, yes use it as a distro.

distro's do have some resistance. unless you are a super audiophile, you will not notice.

same with the ground. but with a higher power application i'd connect the posts. mine go thru the chassis and i run 1.2-1.5k daily.

alright so im putting fuses between the front battery and the back battery....and between both power wires to the amps...the guy also said because the run is so short from the back battery to the amps i don't have to fuse it, because the amps have fuses

go ahead, measure voltage, listen to it, change it, measure voltage, and listen.

tops, you will see like .2v drop and you will not hear any difference. major waste of time unless you are competing and every tenth of a volt means more SPL - then this issue is seriously stupid.

alright....the reason why is that i keep blowing fuses in my distribution block....that was a way to get around that....

fuses dont just blow. you have a problem other than a distro block.
