More Bass on Driver Side

I've got two Alpine 10" 4 ohm 250 watt subs powered by an Alpine 500 watt amp wired at 2 ohms in a sealed box. My speakers all sound equal but the sub on the driver side hits noticeably harder than the sub on the passenger side. I don't think it's my hearing or position or anything like that because the driver side tail light rattles and vibrates more than than the passenger side. It's in a 2000 Jeep Wrangler, everything is aftermarket (stereo, speakers, amp, subs). It annoys me to no end that it's not equal and I would love it if someone could give me an idea of why it does this or how I might fix it.

take both the subs out and swap them over in the box......... does this change the sub that's producing more to the other side? also check that they are both wired up.

I was just thinking about that. Maybe one half of the box isn't sealed up very well, that really hurts output. When I was 16 I bought a pair of kicker CVRs in a sealed prefab box and it sounded like poo because air was leaking out of every joint possible.

Well I replied and attached a picture of my box but it doesn't seem to want to post. I checked the wiring and the box, both of which seemed fine, I even unplugged the wires from the terminals and put them back in, and that seemed like it helped some, but then it could just be my imagination too. I can't imagine there's a leak in the box because it's got four coats of undercoating on it and it's all sealed pretty well inside. I switched them but it seemed to stay the same, although it sounds more equal while I have the seat out because they're blasting right at me without the seat as a buffer. If it helps my box is 3/4" OSB with 0.9 - 0.95 ft per sub (If I remember right and well within the range for the subs) and it's painted with rubber undercoating. The speaker wire goes directly to the subs through the box (no terminal on the outside) but I made sure that was sealed tight.
