More Amp recommendations...

Hi All. I have 2 BA 12.5LF's that I'm running in 2 1cf enclosures (as recommended by BA) Currently they're running in parallel off a Hifonics 1605D. Since they are in parallel, they are at 1ohms. The amp should theoretically be 1600 watts RMS, but ofcourse it's prolly less.

Since the speakers are rated to 1200 watts a piece, what amp would you guys recommenmd to push them properly? Would they theoretically take 2400 watts? Am I missing something?

As I am no expert on Boston Acoustic gear is that 1200 watt rating RMS or peak?

I would ask the amp section. But that is just me. More people in there that will answer your ?

The BA site says 50 to 1200 watts, not sure if that spans RMS and max or not...
