Most mono amps run more stable at 2ohms or lower, so wiring two DVC 4ohm subs at two ohms will usually draw more power out of a mono amp, I saw that the PDX 1.1000 was mentioned, so I know these are exceptions to the rule because they have the same output at either 2 or 4 ohms
