What is the difference between stereo and mono? I have 2 4 ohm dvc subs and i want to wire them in a 1 ohm load to a 2 channel amp. Will this be in mono or stere?

Stereo has a seperate right and left channels.

Mono combines the left and right signal into one

channel.

Your 1 ohm load would be mono to your amp.

Bridging or Bridged - is a term used to describe

combining two channels (Left and Right) into one

mono channel to gain power from the amp.

Ideal for powering a subwoofer.

Your best bet is to bridge your amp and wire

the two subs together for a 4 ohm load.

Unless your amp can handle a 1 ohm load mono.

What amp do you have? What are the power ratings?

If the amp can handle 1 ohm mono and it

puts out the power you want at 1 ohm

Yes go ahead and wire it 1 ohm mono. (bridged)
