mono or 2 channel?

There is no "best" anything. In a pure SPL setup, mono amps may have the upper hand because they can typically handle lower ohm loads and, if class D, are a little more efficient.

Um, well......amps don't "wang", they make your subs "wang". And the number of channels has nothing to do with how hard they "wang" a sub, that is completely power dependent.

so the better the brand the more quallity and sound you will get from it? what amps do you recomend for 2 15's that are 500 rms max. each?

Well, what brand you have really has more to do with build quality and whether or not it will actually make rated power

Depends on how much you have to spend and at what impedence you need that power.

well i need 500 rms to each sub, so i would need 1,000 watt rms from a mono amp right? would 1,000 rms at 2 ohms be good? it dont really know much about the power when it gets a lower ohm load. iam trying to spend like $300.00, thats just an estamate. i what a good system because of what i have now just pisses me the **** off all the time.

i was thinking about the kicker cvr-15-4, 2 of them. and may be power acoustik 1800 class d- digital amp. is that not worth it? should i get one really nice 15 and look for a different amp, would that be the better choice?
