mono on one sub

:/ i'm confused, the two sets of +'s and -'s allow you to hook up two subs more easily... when hooking up one sub, you can simply use one set of terminals and receive the right amount of power.. or, you can bridge the two and get the same power... either way, it's the same amount of power

on most mono amps it has 2 +'s and 2 -'s. what woyuld happen if i wire a dvc sub to the terminals on the amp. just curious.

If you wire a DVC sub with one voice coil to each output?

Nothing more than what would happen if you wired the subwoofer to a single output. Take a DVC 4ohm/coil sub for example. Wire one coil to each output, and the amplifier would "see" a 2ohm load, and put half of the power to each coil. Take that same subwoofer, wire the coils in parallel and then wire it to a single output, and the amplifier would again "see" a 2ohm load, and each coil would still receive half the power.

So, all in all, no difference.
