if you mean a "class D" mono amp, then no, b/c they only output low freqs

Hehehe, my thoughts exactly.

I can name a few full-range Class D amps that are decent to outstanding off the top of my head: Pioneer PRS, Eclipse XA, and Alpine PDX.

 
well not if they are mono and have a built in low-pass, right?
that goes for any number of channels with an automatic lowpass not mono only

to answer the orignal question you can run a pair of mono amps on a set of components and maintain stereo separation but you have to run one amp per side
