Mono amp

Ok...i have a memphis 1000D...and a guy at a local car audio dealer told me that monoblock amps will have 1 terminal for ur subs..meaning 1 pos., 1 neg. and then 2 channel will have 2 terminals..and so on...well with this 1000D...monoblock...has 2 terminals...im confused, help please!

It has 2 terminals but it's still 1 channel (mono). It Just makes it easier if you want to hook up 2 subwoofers to the amp.

Yeah, I've found that more monoblocks have 2 terminals anyway.. dunno why he would have said that.
