the PPI Phantom does 700+@2ohms 1200@1ohm ...and small. 80% efficient. you should check it out for real. better than you think.

I found a cea certified amp from hifonics that does 1200 at 2 ohms for $200 it's the brz 1700. Not sure if those are reliable. I'm trying to get some headroom so 700 rms really isn't enough. Also, I'm sure my voltage won't be at 14.4 constantly so I really want 1000wrms and up.

Edit: just did a search and apparently hifonics ***** according to several people.

look on sonic electronix website. they keep popping up with better options than hifonics but if you choose something on that level get it from them. cheaper and first rate service.

I definitely looked at sonic electronics thats where I look most of the time but I can find better deals used. I bought an sa-15 not even broken in for 165 shipped from someone on this site.
