Mono Amp question

FYI I'm the definition of noob so have at it lol

I have a D8601 Pioneer that's 800w RMS at 1 Ohm. I have a Kicker compR 12" and was looking to go another route (subwoofer wise) and this is where my lack of knowledge kicks in. It has 2 speaker outputs and I've read that in the amp it's wired parallel so if I plug in 2 separate DVC subs that are 2 Ohm rating each then my amp will send it at 1 ohm. Ok I got it (I think). How many watts are now sent to each individual speaker? Is it equally split 400 w RMS each or am I wrong?

Try to wire your subs at 4ohms. The cleanest bass hits at 4 in the car. You can wire your speakers however you want tho to be honest. Speakers are versatile under lower stress

1 ohm will yield more output. Just watch your gain.
