What is the best Ohms to use on a mono amp that is stable at 4, 2, 1 Ohms what is the difference besides the more power when using a lower Ohm rating? Does the amp run hotter with a lower Ohm usage and will the amp be used to the max meaning more where and tear less life of the amp. I was thinking of running 2 4ohm dvc subs 600w rms each,1200w peak each, wired parallel/parallel doesn't that equal 1ohm would this be stressing the amp 2000w rms @ 1 ohm stable amp would this be a good pairing of sub to amp or should I go to a 3000w rms @ 1 ohm amp?

I had two Skar amps (4ch & a monoblock) go bad within a year. Post #2 is an excellent recommendation.
