Mono Amp Graveyard

The Collosus is dual mono stable to 1 ohm. I configured the subs to 1 ohm each. With the 2000D, I configured the subs to present a 2 ohm load to the amp. I suppose I will put the subs on a meter to check the voice coils, and reconfigure the ground. Thanks for all the help fellows.

my amps are at about half way.. depends on HU voltage, i set them with a DDM too..now OP, id reccomend you redoing all of your grounds to proper points, along with measuring the voltage at your amps terminals, ive had it in the past where my cars voltage is 13.9, but the amp was receiving 12.6 due to a bad fuse causing resistance.

Also, you may have had them wired down to .5 like suggested above, but the amp never received that load due to box rise typically pulling it up an ohm or so, but when you hit that tuned frequency, little rise is present, and the amp couldnt handle the load.
yea i had that problem as well like a month ago. my alt, and batts were reading 14.6..at the amp terminals it was reading 10.1. i removed the fuse & block and never had that problem again
