I bought an amp from cj407 and paid via USPS Money Order. He received the money on May 18th and said he would ship the amp out the next day. I have not received the amp or had any responses from him via email since the 18th. Has anyone dealed with a money order and/or know if there is anything USPS will do, other than stop pay? (its already been cashed)

I got your PM but he asked you please post your questions here. He told me the money order you sent was not legit so his bank put a 7 day hold on it and it came back as a fradulent money order and the bank had to hand it over to police.

interesting info...

lets see where this goes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Non-delivery or misrepresentation of mail-order merchandise

This scheme exists in various forms; order an item, make payment, receive nothing is the simplest form of mail fraud. Other variants include misleading descriptions (advertisement says an expensive camera is available by mail-order, when the item arrives it turns out to be a toy camera), deliberate sale of defective merchandise or even stolen merchandise. High-ticket items such as computer hardware are particularly tempting targets for scam artists.

The same scams now exist online; non-delivery of auction or mail-order merchandise advertised on Internet sites is a common complaint.
