Tell her to get a new 11' as they'll be cheaper or a used 10'-11' w/ under 15k. Whichever one she picks will be worth half a year down the road. Nobody wants those big things anymore. From a finacial standpoint i'd never buy a new big suv.02

Making a good point there... I don't really see much reason in getting the BRAND new ones, especially when there's certified used available from the dealer for SO SO much less.

are they still makeing Ford Excursions? You can get those decently cheap and they're simply massive, and good for Towing, DNR use them alot.

The Ford Excursions are now just called the Expedition EL. She doesn't want the XL or EL models.

I took the Grand Cherokee Limited out for a test drive today. That vehicle is awesome, especially with the HEMI and AWD. I called her up and said to definitely look at one. Also tried the Expedition. Didn't care for it as much. Plus the Grand Cherokee's stereo sounded sooooo much better. The salesman said he thinks its done by Boston which is a huge + in my books. Oh and you want pics of mi madre?

I hate everything d/c/j but i'd say the durango or the jeep from a visual standpoint. Horrible reliability though.

GX460 is really nice, V8, and better gas millage then the other listed V8 powered SUV's.

300hp/330tq. Can get into a fully loaded (premium) for around 58k

Or if you dont mind the $$$$$$, the LX570...

80k, 6000lbs and can do 140mph......(ele. limited)
