Anyone know anything of Power Acoustik woofers?

Yea, i used to have one. World's biggest paperweight. Sounds like straight up A**, but it does get quite loud.

I've heard some of them before...gets pretty loud, doesn't exactly sound that good though.

i just seen his car yesterday---yeah he's got 2 mojo 15's but right now hes running towo 2400's instead of the 3000---but yeah they get quite load.

Good driver + heavy *** cone = Loud woofer with no SQ. PA could redo the cone, use about 1/4 of the material, structure it right, and have a woofer with real balls.

Yea i am runing the a2400db's right now because i the way i have my box built the a3000db's would not fit. So they are sitting in my garage right now until i redo my box. They are a very good sub, very loud. But for sq they are not the best choice.

P.S. - Jason - what did you think of my build in that i did. I have not even built a box before and started off with a build in. I did not think that it turned out too bad. The reason i had A2400's is because when i calculated the length that i needed to mount them on the side panels i forgot to factor in the extra area i would need for the wires and stuff on the ends of the amp. Stupid me.

Their cones are so god d@mn heavy because of the all the metal that is in them. Their voice coils tend to get rather warm so they use rib inserts to act as cooling "fins" and also to reinforce the cone.

lol stupid math--looked pretty nice for a first time build man--probably looks better than mine will.

thanks man. I was proud of myself when i got it done. You did not see my ports though. I got flip down seats and they are on the other side of the box. They are way miscalculated. But hey everyone has to learn somewhere.

Isn't custom going to be doing your intsall. It better look better than mine then.

Oh yea guess what those dumbsh!ts did over here at the celina store. There is a kid that goes to my school that bought a alpine h/u form them. He thought he would be able to hook it up himself well it turns out that he could not. He also bought a dash kit and wiring harness from them also. Well the wiring harness was the wrong connection and they even went out and looked at the car to get the year and model. The alpine deck only had the manual with it. Missing the wiring harness for that. Along with all the hardware. THe only thing that was right was the dash kit. So i go over there and the guy over there accussed me of not knowing what i was tlaking about. I about put a foot in his(aka Dave the tall skinny dude) @ss. I was so pissed so i made the kid return it and he bought one from me.
