if his plans are net then if the box i want is 3.5^ft net do i use a 4.5 box plan to calculate the displacement for sub and port because my sub and port is 1^ft displacment

you shouldnt have to compensate for the port because its in the plan, just minus your woofer displacement.

GROSS= total cubic feet

NET= total internal volume minus port

so if i need the 3.5 ^ft at 30 hz then i can use that exact one because my sub displacement is .26
