That amp will run fine @ 1 Ohm all day, but dont expect full power out of it. I am currently running 2 of this in my other car, both @ .5 ohm. Awsome little amps.

I dont know about running it at 1 ohm from personal experience, but I would think the amp would be more stable at 1 ohm, it just wouldnt put out the same power.

sweet thanks man figured it wouldn't pull the full 1400. if you had to guess what you think it will put out at one ohm.

running the amp above impedence is fine...now if you were taking a 2 ohm amp and putting a .5 load on it....then yes you might have problems...

Around 900 - 1000 Wrms @ 1 Ohm.

They will shine @ .5 ohm as there intended to. I have being running mine for over 4 years now @ .5 Ohms, and have abused them to the max. BULLET PROOF in short terms.
