I once mixed 1 12 pioneer and 12 inch mtx because my other pioneer blew and it sounded good. I have 2 mtxs im getting with a trade on one of my cars with a blown engine. Plus im getting a 12 inch jl w0 and i have 2 jbl subs sitting around. One of the jbl has a messed up rubber surround but the other one is pefect. I was thinking on putting the 2 mtxs in the trunk and the jl and jbl in behind my seat with seperate boxes.

if you set the ones in the trunk to play like below 100 hz...then the others to play mids only.... i think you will be ok, but still, i think ur mids should be the same too... i say buy one more of the Jl's and use them as mids

Ok i have another question. The car i bought 93 grand am came with a crap load of dynomat in the trunk and rockford wiring kit. But there is a wierd thing that has like 4 av connections. Is this made so you can run 2 amps? I will take a pic tommorow and post it so I can show you.

av connections? i think your talking about interconnects. is the headunit stock? they are signal cables that come from the back of the headunit to the amplifier. now, what you have to find out, is how many pre-out the headunit has. it can be either a rear and sub, front and sub, or sub and rear.
