Mixing Ohm loads

I have a 4 channel amp I know runs stable at 2 Ohms with 2 sets of crossover/contols. All my speakers are 4 Ohm. I know I could just go 4x4 ohms or 2x2 ohms but I don't want that much power going to my front speakers. Can I run 3 channels, 1 at 2 ohms using 2 channels bridged, and then 2 at 4 ohms for my front speakers? My guess is no, but I'm not sure. Do you guys know?

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is most likely no. I assume you want to run a pair of subs off the bridged channel Most 4 channel amps are not stable at 2 ohms when bridged. If yours is one of the few that is then go for it. What amp is it? The answer to that will help us give you a more accurate and definitive answer.

It is a gs redline 4 channel. GS 4300S. I know it works at 2 ohms bridged so I was just wondering if I could mix ohm loads like that. The 2 ohm part for back speakers and the 2 4 ohm parts for fronts.
