minor repair to rubber surround? possible?

Hey guys. I damaged a speaker tonight. I did the old "slip the screw driver off the screw and hit the surround" tactic while putting it in. I didn't hit it hard but it was enough to make the tiniest slit/tear. the actual size of it is about the length and width of those two dash marks I typed > --

what effect will this have on the speaker? is this fixable? worst case if I have to buy another set I will. They are just your typical 6x9 infinity Kappa 3-way. Not too expensive.

could I place a dab of crazy glue on it? some epoxy? I'm gonna test it tomorrow and see how it sounds.

thanks for any input.
