Minimum wage in your STATE?

$7.40 here in CT. I don't know how anyone would be able to make a living off of that considering cost of living here is absolutely insane
call me crazy but me and my wife r thinking about moving to stamford

my wife works 5mins from ur house believe it or not

80

No, federal minimum wage is $5.15 an hour, not $6.25.
Interesting. I swear the poster at work says that. I guess it is still only $5.15. It went up shortly after they passed the hike up to $7.25 so I figured thats what it was at everywhere. I really don't have to worry about minimum wage anymore, one of the good parts of not being a teenager.

New laws put into place:

5.85 per hour, effective July 24th, 2007; $6.55 effective July 24th, 2008, and $7.25 an hour on July 24th 2009.

Washington $7.93

Connecticut $7.65

California $7.50

Massachusetts $7.50

Going on right now
