Minimum amp for HCS3

Hey All,

I have a guy I work with just got an HDC3 10" running it in a ported in his Honda accord. He's running it on a 1000 rms RF atm. What's the minimum amp you'd recommend for him to run? He's trying not to do any electrical upgrade so he's in a difficult spot.

1000rms will be fine.

Super thanks I'll let him know yeah looks like a real nice sub. I figured being rated at 1500rms he'd need to run at least that on it.

no you can run it what any amp. just have to set the gain right.

also depends on how much bass he wants.. and if the car can handle it.

It doesn't take a lot to get them loud, however, with a lot, they only get louder!

Def not a sound quality subwoofer but get very loud on a lot of power. I've had 5 hdc3s now.

Hdc3s are great subs(im a SQ/SQ guy lol)... 1k will get her moving but it will shine with 2k+
