Sorry I took so long guys. Been kinda busy lately.....

MINI EXTREME SPL RULES -

Class Catoragization -

A - Size Restricition* - 16" x 7" x 7"

B - Size Restriction *- 24" x 15" x 15"

Class Breakdown -

1 - 80hz and under

2 - Any frequency

* Measurments are done by,

Length - Front bumper - back bumper ( Bottom base of the car )

Width - Door to Door - ( Bottom base of car )

Height - Bottom of wheels to highest point on car

* Top body of the car may not exceed the bottom base, with the exception of side mirrors.

RULES -

General Rules -

Model / Toy must be metered on the new TL ONLY.

TL MUST BE PLACED WITHIN THE MODEL / TOY ON THE FRONT WINDSHIELD.

Model / Toy may be entered in both class's.

Model / Toy must be purchasable in stores, NO HOME MADE TOYS OR MODELS.

Model / Toy must be a pick-up truck, car or an suv.

NO BIG TRUCKS WITH SETUPS IN THE TRAILERS OR TONKA MACHINES.

Power to the speaker / speakers must be recieved from a car / home amplifier.

1st burp supplied by No minimum wattage, maximum of 25

2nd burp supplied by 100 rms minimum. No maximum amount of wattage.

Both burps must be video taped, the loudest burp will be acounted for.

Anything may be used to produce the amplified signal.

All speakers must be placed within the car.

( No part of the box exceeding the b pillers )

Exterior Modifications -

No external modifications may be made to the model / toys with the exception of,

Sunroof Covers that are easily removable and do not trap the TL inside.

( TL must be able to be inserted and taken out upon will )

( Covers are included in the overall model / toys height limitations )

Roof racks if they interfere with the sunroof and placement of the TL or sunroof cover.

Roof racks may not be cut down, they must still remain the same height in this case.

Wheels may be changed as long as,

1. They are the same size as the original wheels or bigger.

2. The axle and wheels must remain functional and moving.

( Models / toys may be lowered, but rule 2 applies )

Glue, Caulk, Expanding foam and any other product may be used,

to create a seal along the outside of the model / toy.

( Not incuding the open hatch / hole for the TL sensors insertion but including any other openable doors )

( Open hatch may be, bolted, sticky tacked etc. but must remain easily openable at will )

Screws may be used along the outside of the body, to hold wood to the body.

Paint may be used, to re-color the model / toy

Interior Modifications -

Windows -

Windows may be replaced with other materials as long as,

1. The front drivers side and passenger side windows are clear.

2. The wind shield is clear. ( Must be placed along the inside )

( Rear windows may be replaced with any non-visable materials )

Walls -

Walls are permitted but not required.

All walls must be placed behind the b pillers.

Blow throughs -

Blow throughs are permited but not required.

The bed of the truck must be plexi glass, or of other see through material.

Builds -

Floor build ups are permited. ( No more then 1 piece, maximum 3/4" thick )

Roof build downs are permited. ( No more then 1 piece, maximum 3/4" thick )

Side to side builds are permited. ( No more then 1 piece, maximum 3/4" thick )

Ports -

All ports must be placed within the car.

I am working on the competition rules right now. This should be able to get you guys started on your Model / Toys now tho.

Im thinking having an enty fee, winner takes all.

Or a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place deal.

Split between whatever amount of money there is.

The rules are very simple and easy to follow. If you read.....all speakers must be placed within the car. I really dont care where the amp is either......

If you are competing you shouldn't be doing the comp.

I dont get it...

I am not doing the comp. Im just doing my own projects for fun.

Wouldnt be fair if I charged entry n entered myself.
