im gona laugh pretty hard if you get 100% cancellation
http://www.teamrocs.com/technical/pages/aiming.htm
i was under the impression that, that particular webpage was talkin directly about a trunk car, and a speaker box, not a wall...which will take the notion of using a trunk out of the equation due to the fact that the wall makes it so that all sound waves move forward and not back to get "trapped" or "cancel themselves out".

correct me if i'm wrong?

play your home sub and walk around the room listening to the bass, it will be better and worse in different locations.

cancellation can happen anywhere, if the waves from the subs happen to be out of phase at your ears you hear,

this is why test boxes are important.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
