MILO stole my US AMPS!

This guy Chassis_Inc on ebay has been advertising new old school US AMPS for quite a while. I tried to make a deal with him one time, but he failed to ship my amp in time so I filed a complaint with pp to get my money back. A few months later I bought some replacement parts to restore a bunch of amps I had laying around.

Just this month, I had a busted amp that i needed to get repaired so I contacted him to have it repaired. He told me he could fix it with no problem so I agreed to send him my amp to get repaired.

We exchange emails and he figures out I was the guy who did the chargeback for the amp he never ships.

He gets all pissed and tells me:

"Hawaii!!?? Are you the dude that bullshit about buying a us25 before and did a charge back on me?

that's it, I'm blocking you're email, thanks for the junk amp"

So now he has my busted amp and refuses to respond to my emails. Does anyone in Gainesville want to pay him a visit on my behalf?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

In all seriousness what do I do? I heard this guy was a crook, unfortunately it was after I sent my amp...

if you mailed it maybe you can file a mail fraud complaint, but i dont know for sure. Calling the police for the town he lives in filing complaint and then calling the DA office in his county would be another good place to start. Maybe Florida has some sort of internet fraud agency you could find. Its all a matter of how much effort you want to invest. You might never get it back, but you might be able to at least harass him. Save all emails and hopefully you have some sort of proof of delivery and intention he was to provide a service.

Call the police in his town and file a report and the same in you town give all info email's and what not and they should do something seeing you have had a run in with him b4 look on his ebay accout if he has anymore neg. try to contact them and see what happened if it is the same there will be multi charge and they will have to do something. Alot of this go on a pbnation a paintball site i go to it is not rare to here about a whole group of people getting your stuff back in a not so nice way. But seriously go nice at first talk to the police then if that fails go the bad route ohh and if you have proof you shipped it to him and he signed for it that should be all they need for a search warrent

If this is the Milo I'm thinking of (since you mentioned US Amps, I have a strong feeling it is) try posting this up over on http://forum.elitecaraudio.com/index.php

Milo (used to go by Milotronics and dealt primarily with US Amps) is very well known around that forum as being a huge scam artist and almost every deal he has done, the buyer/seller has had a problem with him. Maybe they could give you some insight on how to handle the situation from past experience with him.

One of his great "moves" was to switch the end plates on amplifiers IIRC. So you'd think you were getting model "XXX", but after it arrived you could measure the dimensions of the heatsink and look at the board inside the amplifier, and it would actually be model "XXY", only with endplates that said "XXX' on them. And ofcourse, you had paid for model XXX instead of XXY.

Gainsville, Florida? I might be interested in making a run...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Edit: I'm retarded, i just saw the posted address...heh, looks like I might have a fun weekend.

I would get in contact with a detective at gainseville pd and file a complaint. show the email with him saying thanks for the junk amp. Gainsville should have a department for stuff like this.

Maybe if you had followed eBay's rules and not sent him a payment before the auction was over, you'd have never had this problem in the first place. He should have just kept the money (emptied out his paypal account).

Oh, why do you have THREE threads about this??? Imagine if everyone did that shit!!!
