The only people that stick up for the power abuse are those who haven't been around since the forum was worth a ****. The old mods, rangerman, denim, snova, etc were a great group...did what needed to be done, without much else.

Stop whining and get the admin to unban him. Thats what we do at the place that i mod. And ive banned someone on accident before. (didnt understand this school had a proxy ip?!)

ehh I have to agree with Rangerman, Mike is a dick for no reason. He banned an account that I was given permission by a mod to use before post one was ever made and it never posted outside of the lounge. Figure that one out, I get permission ahead of time and still get banned.

I don't think there's anything wrong with fake names, as long as those fake names aren't being used to break the TOS. When they're used to personally attack people, that's a different issue.

Why would anyone need an alternate username other than to be deceitful, or wreak havoc on the forums? Multiple usernames are a no-go.

Well...I disagree when they are used in the lounge, within the TOS, and for fun...I guess that is where the problem is. Most do it to be deceitful.
Look at power_turd. I have had that name since before I became a moderator. Sometimes its fun to "play" as a usual member. I didnt hide the fact that I have other names, I didnt hide the IPs either.

Its your forum, power_turd wont be back until you state otherwise.

jntar as a mod i'd hope you wouldnt do the same thing the other members are doing. please as an example, please dont post on your other names
