Im trying to blow up a boat

I think the question of whether or not ammonium nitrate is a legal substance to posses is irrelevant; Because im sure blowing up a boat is.

yea ammonium nitrate is a bad idea.....by-products will kill you.......use francium or cesium.....if u cant get that (its very dangerous) get rubidium....and jsut add water and sit back and watch the explosion.....

You are not going to be able to buy Francium or Cesium for that matter. Francium is only found in man-made lab conditions for a split second, and Cesium is 1. too expensive in pure form, 2. rare in pure form, 3. not going to blow up only the boat, but probably everything around it in pure form.

Sodium's the only alkali metal you're likely to find in sizable quantites, and even though it's theoretically less powerful than those heavier ones, I'd still run very quickly when you've got a chunk of it and water together...

But why make things difficult? Get some gasoline and a long-*** fuse.
