hell yeah paul wall used to put it down back in the day... with koopa and 50/50twinbeleive it or not he still jus as cold, i herd him last friday night on 'freestyle-friday' that 104.9 does and he still got it

They need a XM radio show so i can listen to it cause thats mainly what i listen to, our radio stations here in Dayton, Ohio sucks, they play like the top six songs every hour for majority of the day, like everyday, the radio station here gets no play in my car jus to see whats goin on in the city on the commercials and thats it

True but a lot of west coast rappers are against changing their ways to the industry in order to get recognition. Thats one thing i like about them. thas why i like em as well thas also why eveyron says the westcoast fell off when pac died but thas also alot of rapper became big on the west. Noone relizes tho its the same in atl, chi, NY. The best ones are the one syou will never hear of.

nah man, that shit is way different then "oh i think they like me on the otha one so it's only right that i hit you with another one" and all that weak shit i hear people playing now. i don't even listen to much rap anymore. but when i do, it's mostly DSR, i like the crazy punch lines and funny rhymes

...as good lyrics... those ARENT good lyrics, those are simple rhymes in a simple rhyme scheme, talking about the same goddamn crap every mainstream rapper is talking about...

It was a freestyle, not writin down, he threw his words together well, can u do better, freestyle doesnt have to be taken serious, and it was not mainstream where he is told how to rap, but u dont listen to that music so u wouldnt know.

oh didnt realize it was a freestyle, so sure that takes talent, and I agree freestyle doesnt have to be taken seriously, but you cant deny that in his track songs, he basically talks about the same stuff 99% of the time. Also, no, haha, I dont freestyle nor could I do better. And I do listen to some mainstream, well, basically I head up the music at our parties so I need to keep up with it. yea thats exactly why comman mos def and otheer real hip hop ARTIST doesnt get any play because u can snap ur fingers to it or do the step. Common has some positive and good flow. Its funny how the rap game changed, like i said in another thread u got to be killin like 10 people in every song, slang at leats 10 kilos every week, **** about 20 hoes in one nite, drive on the biggest wheels possible, drive the most expensive car money can buy to be able to sell in the industry.
