K guys my current setup is 2 HDC3 12s running off of a Crunch 3000d Pro in a 97 Nissan Maxima, im almost certain i am going to be getting a Yukon Denali XL, for my next vehicle very shortly, this thing has a TON of room, now my brother says that i should sell the 2 12's and get 4 HDC3 15s and run them off of some kind of 5000 watt amp, now i think i should just add 2 twelves and have 4 and either keep the crunch or possible add a 5k amp, and definantly an alternator and what not. What do u guys think is the better, more efficent setup. Thanks

I'd say get 2 18" HDC's and another crutch amp. big alt, couple batts etc..

idk how much money your working with, but that would be a cheaper upgrade than 4 15's

and the HDC's will laugh at 1k each..

thanks for the input, well im not planning on doing this system right away, i still gotta get the car and pay it off lol, but when i pay it off i think i could have enough money to do whatever i want, do u think 4 hc3s off of maby 2 crunch 3000's would be pretty good? because thats what i have right now 1 crunch on 2 hdc3s and they slam pretty good in my maxima, and im definanlty going to upgrade the alternator and stuff, just looking for suggestions thanks.

id get rid of the crunch personally...2 or 4 18's if you can swing it. For subs id look at Fi, RE, DC Sound Labs, DD, sundown...but thatss me

well i would love to do 4 18's, believe me:boink:, but considering i have to be able to pay off the vehicle before the beginning of january, because i have to start back to school, and i wont be making any money,then i have to have money left over to pay for fuel, then try to put a big stereo, it kinda sucks, right now id really like to sell my 12's to my brother, and just buy 2 hdc3 18s and run them off of my crunch and just spend the rest of the money to upgrade all of my electrical, because the only electrical i have right now to be able to put in it, is 1 kinetik 1800, and 2 hx400fr's, a some 1/0 gauge wire:crap:

get two more hdc12's and another crunch 3000dpro and that will be loud. use the money saved and upgrade your electrical. Think about it, thats 6000 watts and 4 12's. Are you competing?

I was thinking about the 4 12s and 6000 watts deal, because i do plan on going to some MECA shows and competing when i get it finished, but i believe it will be a long time till i start getting anything together soon, ill probably have to beg my parents to let me buy all the wire im going to need just to put my amp, batteries and subs that i have right now in the thing lol. Well since you already have 2 12" HDC3s and a GP 3000D Pro, i'd just get another amp and 2 more 12" HDC3s. That will be a pretty sick daily system and will be a hell of alot cheaper than the other ones suggested. Just get a big HO alt, a nice under hood batt and like 3 more big group 31s in back. All that together would turn into a nasty lil daily setup.

The Crunch amp he has now is much better than the Audiopipe 3000d, I would just get another GP3K and two more AQ's. That will be the most budget friendly and will be LOUD!
