Right now I work at the golf course for the city. Its part time, so I dont get any benefits. Im only making like 200 a week.

So I called up a friend earlier about getting a job working for him installing cable and internet and such. He told me that for the first two weeks if I get the job he would pay me 50 bucks a day. Which is ok with me. But then he said after that you can make anywhere between 700 and 800 a week. Then he told me after 2-3 months I could be making anywhere between 800 and 1200 a week.

I really hope I get this job. It would definately help support my car audio hobby. lol

It is a good way of living, my friend does the same thing for a living. He finally went out on his own only after working for someone else for about three years. He brings in some pretty good bank.

maintain a good work ethic, study your states electrical codes, get that specialty electricians license (that's what Idaho called it when I got mine) so you can do your own work and sign the seal/certificates when your done with the job. It is VERY proffitable and has a definate future. All the entertainment and internet pre-wiring that is going into new homes (and retro fitting into old) is growing every month. Good luck...

i had a chance to train to be an electrician for FREE and the guy would pay me out of his pocket some and i'd be full-time. i passed that up cuz i was too nervous to call the guy. when i did, he found someone else cuz he stopped waiting for me to call him. i'm kicking myself so bad.

I went in for the interview today and the guy I talked to told me to call him tommorow after I got off the phone with my current boss. The guy I talked to wants to know when I would be available to start.

Dude, thats the gravy train of jobs. Hooking up internet and cable? Super easy. And making that much to do it, crap Im going to have to get into it.

I deliver appliances and stuff for Lowes right now and its not feeding my car audio hunger.
