well i would say try fiberglassing yourself im learning it actaully right now at my work and it is not that hard just make sure u r wearing a gas mask cause the fumes of the resin , long sleeves so u dont get it on u or u will itch for like 3 days and also if u do get it on u use freezing cold water it closes up the parts of your skin to stop the rest from getin in hot opens it up.

Well, Boise isn't exactly L.A., but it's probably a good sized city. There must be some talent there. Some folks charge $50-60 per hour for custom work. Fiberglass sucks. It's messy, there's a lot of sanding involved, etc. $2400 is kind of steep though. If I were you I would look for some talented kid in your area who is handy with building enclosures. Maybe you could check out some car shows and see who is hungry and willing to work for your offer ($1000?)

oh, and 2400 is STEEP as hell. for something like, (being REaLLY simple to pull off) id pay like 1200 tops from a shop, PAINTED not vinyld.
