mids/speaker system sound like shit now?

I had my system running really nicely, until I installed this EQ. Because I daisy chained it to my H/U harness there was a amp delay which made a really loud pop in my mid system. so un installed the eq and used the HU again, after hooking up my amp directly to the H/U my left mid sub was making a farty noise, and the system sounded really sloppy. so I took all the mids out and took them back for warranty and installed a brand new pair (of each sub mid, mid, and tweet) and hooked them up. the left mid sub still sounds like shit, and the whole speaker system still sounds pretty crappy.

I checked my grounds everything seems fine, ive ****ed with all the eq settings on my amp, and HU, but all around its just terrible sound coming out of the speakers....

Im loosing my mind.....please help me get this sorted

So it sounds as though you were working fine, installed some hardware, then it sounded like crap, you took the hardware out and it still sounded like crap?

Did you make sure to set all the crossovers back to the original state and double check all your connections were still solid?

yes all connections are solid.

could the amp it self have suffered from the delay? or possible the HU?
