i already have decided on that, here it is

3 id max each powered by jbl 1200.1 in a sealed box

my hu is a pioneer deh-9400mp

my eq is a audio control three.1

im am going to buy the mid range amps based on what i deside from you guys helpin me. all i need to know is my mid range and hi's and i will be good to go.

get the eclipse if you can afford it.

I have boston pro's for my mids and highs. Nothing unreal, but definitely a very good pair of speakers that have very good at SQ. I like the Quarts Qs but those are like a 1000 retail for a pair. I do not know anything about them, price, sound, or availability but these dynaudio compenents look very nice. http://www.dynaudio.com. Would like to know more about them if any of the experts on here know anything about them.

so if you had 2k to spend on mid range and his and you had to fill all those sizes i stated above (not counting amps) what would you get?

what kind of vehicle is it. Maybe do something like Q components in the kicks. Quart Referenz Premium components in the door. And Then a pair of cheaper components or even a coaxial in the rear for rear fill. Thats if you want to go MB Quart. Another interesting setup would be a very good pair of components in the kicks and then a good midrange woofer that could hit deep in the doors and then ultrahigh tweeter up by the windshield. Should produce mad quality and imaging placed, installed, and powered right. Anyways if you spend 2000 on this stuff, it would be very hard to go wrong. Most components that cost in the 400+ are going to be very good speakers. You get what you pay for. For me I went with the pros cause they were in my price range and I had never heard anything bad about them. I was also looking into quart polk and infinity components. i got my 5.25 for 350 for the pair with full warranty from a retail store so I figured i got a decent deal(90 off retail price for not being anyone special or anything) and i knew if i ever had a problem with them, i would have no problem at all getting a new pair. Oh well goodluck, you seem like you have the money to do it right so go for it. BTW if you have this money, why'd you go with the jbl amps? Heh i guess I am what people call a JBL hater //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i went all jbl on sub amps cus i dont see the point of paying twise as much and getting nuthing out of it. the vehilce is a 2001 tahoe. ill do what u said but im going to put quart q's in the rear 2. on the tweeters i was thinking one on each pillar. yeah i was thinking about the mid-bass in the doors then i wondered if i could get a pair of free air 8s and put them in the console or something like that. i am also thinking about id horns.

anyone else with an idea

2k to fill up 6 6 1/2's and 2 2 1/2

thanks

You really shouldnt waste ur money on quart Qs for the rear. You really dont need that exceptional of a speaker in the rear mainly because you dont want that much sound ocming from back their because it will through off your staging. You are much better off getting an awesome front stage and an above average rear fill

im stickin with the pioneer h/u, but im still stuck on this midrange. and does anyone know where i can find 2 1/2 inch tweets or speakers i havnt found one yet!!!
