Hey guys first time poster here, This problem I am having or have had since i've installed my system back in may. First off this system is in a 2003 Impala, 3.4L v6, it's all pretty basic, no onstar; but it does have a factory amp installed that I am still using. This is my setup, I have a Dual deck(Amazon.com: Lanzar VIBE286 Viberant 2 Channel 4000 Watts High Power Mosfet Amplifier: Electronics)
and my subs are kicker solo baric 12inch L5s. The problem I am having is my Mids/highs are half as loud as they were before installation, i turn the deck volume to 31/44 and can barely hear it but the bass with the gain barely turned up and the subwoofer setting at 1 and the bass setting at -6 is still extremely loud. I need to balance my system and I don't think I can tune the factory amp in my car, I was wondering if the wiring harness audio input level knob would have anything to do with this? Does it effect the bass also or just the factory speakers...It's really annoying. The guy that installed it said it was just the deck and nothing could be done, I would have to buy another amp 4 channel and buy some after market speakers for the best solution, until then is there any other way to balancing it?
