Seeing as you'll probably never find any respectable or good sounding component sets and an amp for $130, some really nice coaxials would be a better option. Any live instrument rap will have midbass, thats alot of old school stuff, The Roots, Atmosphere... hell, anything with a kick drum has midbass, thats what the initial kick and the hit you feel in your chest is.

Correction; 3-6 Mafia is all low bass.

I didn't say all rap has no midbass, I just said all the stuff I had to listen to when I rode the bus to HS a long time ago. All that popular shit people liked. Of course, it's quite possible the bus itself had no midbass.
