ok there seems to be a bit of confusion, totaly my fault,
now let me explain the situation

right now there are

rainbow slc comps up front

two 12" assasins in trunk running off of jbl bpx 500.1

and so the problem is the rainbow comps are going to run off of a jbl px 300 (already bought) and it has 4 channels so two channels are going to be wasted

(i can't bridge cause they make 358 watts x 2 at 4 ohms bridged so that's way too much for speakers that run at 100 rms.

so you see i don't want to waste the two channels that are making 123 watts each, therefore looking for rear fill midbasses. Nothing expensive, a pair of midbasses under 100 bucks would be more than enough.

feel free to suggest any other ideas

Bridge the amplifier.

Set the gain accordingly.

Hes got these channels that are going to waste... I would want to use them too. The sound he is looking to reinforce isn't going to really sound like its coming from behind him since it will be rather non directional.

X2 on what squeak said. You should be fine bridging it as long as the gains are kept at a decent level.

Just use your brain when it comes to the gains. Don't let them get distorted, or wang too much.

if you can't tell where a 110hz tone is coming from, you're tripping on some good ****ing acid

even the 80hz range that he's letting his sub play into is directional

Around 120 is the point where sound starts to become non-directional. So, his system is going to sound completely horrible because of this minor change?

yes, all i want is to have a smoother transition between the subwoofer and the components, i want everything to work in their best range, and use the two amp channels in the process. I never, never want the back to interfere with the front, hense midbass instead of coaxials. Also i like that slight feeling of presence in the back so i think this will be good.
