Midbass?????

If I used the av8 from adire (I wanted to keep the adire theme) and got like Infinity tweets would that sound better or just as good as say a infinity component set and also would that component set give me enough midbass?

crossovers when they're well designed can help the sound of a component set. Also, be sure that the tweeter's sensitivity is matched to the woofer, or else it will sound too bright or too muffled. How about look into some nice home audio tweets? I'm sure at either http://www.partsexpress.com or http://www.madisound.com you can find crossover networks to build and tweeters that should fit your needs.

and, you should get nice midbass out of proper 8"

tho im sure its possible to get spectacular midbass out of a set of infinity components with some mega awesome enclosure.... its not feasable for everyday car audio

i am very unsatisfied with the ininity's that i have. mediocre midbass and very high, loud, and painful highs at high volumes. they sound great at half volume but when you hear your favorite song on the radio or cd, who wants to play it half volume?

then again... like i said... install is everything... im sure if i would have mounted my tweets in the kick panels instead of high on the door panels by the side view mirrors, the highs wouldnt seem as harsh and if i would fab some killer enclosures for the midbass drivers, im sure it would create a better sound but.......... whatever......
