jl 10w0, do u think it could handle frequencies between 80-500? almost an opinion but then mechanically it might not be able to do it. be in a small sealed box, about .7 cubes.

would it produce the midbass frequencies without any problems?

It's a purpose built sub. I wouldn't give it anything much above 150Hz and expect it to sound good. Find a purpose built woofer/midbass.

Look at some Kicker RMB8 midbass on ebay. Sound awesome and they are inexpensive.
