midbass speaker location and frequency range ect...?

Front stage, in stereo, one to the listener's left, and one to their right. So no rear deck, no center console. Most car audio mids/midbass are designed to work free-air (or very large sealed), so no dash, and no kicks, unless ported or aperiodic membrane.

IOW, in most cases you are best running dedicated midbass in your doors (free air), and your mids/tweets in your kicks.

yea, door midbass are the easiest to implement.

kick midbass can work great if you are willing to totally modify the kicks, and vent them to the outside. i did that, and it worked good except for structural resonances of the floor. so i'm back to the doors.

doors **** because of depth issues, so custom door pods are usually necessary. full deadener and complete seals are required.

my midbass plays 60Hz - 160Hz. my midrange plays 160Hz - 5kHz. My tweeter plays 5kHz and up. 200Hz is the upper range of "midbass". above that is "midrange". if you play above 200Hz, i wouldn't call it midbass - i'd call it a speaker.

well thats certainly true...normally thats how I'd do it but when I was searching I had a lot of trouble finding a LPF or HPF that opperated that low IDK why....I guess it also depends on your slopes.
