Midbass 8 inch that can take 340 watts from a pair of C2k3.0?

do they have to be 8's? would you look into anything smaller?

Is there something smaller that would even take 340 watts?and give the midbass of an eight?I could go from 6.5 to 9.It's strictly for midbass duty around 50 to 250hz with a 18 to 48 db slope.

a DD 1508 will work well in that freq range also and take that easily....
Dude your as sick as me:crazy:

I guess I should be a little more specific.I'm looking for a Something to mount into a Ford F150 Door I.B. 8 pure SQ style that can play 50-60to 250-300hz handle the power mentioned around 340watts at 4 ohms I havent picked subwoofers yet but so far I have amp/speaker wise.

1 C2k 2.5 bridged + Morel Piccolo Supremo tweeters so around 150 watts each

1 C2k 3.0 + HAT legatia L3 for around 75 watts each.

2 C2k 3.0 + the midbass that can take them I guess if its 8 ohm it'll be 175 watts

1 C2k 6.0+Sub? I figure it's going to take at least 2 12's under the rear seat to keep up.

Shortlist

Hat L8

Seas w22ny

Morel MW2658

Peerless Xls 8 hard to find:(

I am using the JBL 2118H's in this exact setup ... the amp is 325 W/ch @4 ohms. Put them in the door in an AP enclosure, amazing for SQ. They are running 56-360 Hz.
