well I did a little more on this install today.

It fits snug, but I will be putting 2 bolts through the factory panels into the box, then bolt them together befor the sub is installed.

 
Looks great man wish I knew my way around fiberglass so I could make my own enclosure instead of spending 350 bucks on a custom made one.
It isn't that hard. protecting your car is #1, then who cares how big of a mess you make.

That was something I was going to try also to remove some of the gasjet from the front

Definitely hard to beat, but they're deep. Didn't know these were still floating around.
