Hello I got a question today I bought a tauraus/sable 04-07 harness kit from bestbuy but my car is an 01 sable it looks like the same shape and also 4 reps there said it would fit but it for an 04-07 so do you guys think this kit will fit my sable 01 sedan

take a look at the harness and wires on the other harness see if they line up when you plug them in.... If they are the same colors then you should be fine.

Ok I tried it and it fits but the defrost button is on other side and the new harness has an airbag light on it

the dash kit is the 99-5716

The one i have is the 99-5717 and the only difference between the two is the new one has a airbag switch. So i wonder could i still use the harness or should i go back and ask for another one?

well i'm sure that the airbag switch is probably important then again if the factory didn't have a switch there you may be ok i'd at least ask about it.
