Metered the van for the first time

well in the future i plan on 6 3000d's running at .5 ohm each as long as they can handle it. i figured that would be 20,000w + . so thats definetly gonna make or break the prototype speakers i am running.

haha on 16v and at .5ohm...should easily see 20k watts....good luck man post some results when ya get them

6 sundown 3000s on 16v bank will easily top 30k. They do well over 5k each on a high voltage bank.

I don't know if you were talking about you figured it would be 20,000 plus watts to break the 160 or those amps will do over 20,000. Honestly I haven't tested brock's 3000ds yet. But we clamped the 1500D and it did 1550 at on 14 volt electrical. Catch here is that was wired at 1 ohm with imp rise to 1.6. So pretty nice. I know everybody says 5k plus (which it may) But safely with that low of ohm I bet min 4500 per amp as long as you can hold 16. With imp rise probably will see somewhere around .7 to .8 on your burp. But I would still say over 5000 per amp but min 4500 . So 27,000 watts on up

of course i dont know the exact amount of power which is why i said 20k+ so many variable and so much work to do on the box and what not. i could have a rediculous impedence rise and not know. havent tested that in depth yet. batteries rest at 17.2v. and when i get in the lane ill swith the alt over to the 16v bank and run 17.8v

should have a nice turn out either way. just waiting on my response back from jacob about tryin to join team sundown.
